Remote interrogation and control of the balance via external control devices or a computer with the KERN communication protocol (KCP). The KPC is a standardized interface instruction set for KERN balances and other instruments that allow you to call up and control all relevant parameters and device functions. KERN devices with KCP can therefore be easily connected to the computer, industrial controls and other digital systems. The KCP is largely compatible with the MT-SICS protocol.
